Practiced in many cultures, the art of weaving rag rugs has a timeless quality. While they have been traditionally woven with recycled textiles, we create our rag rugs in a fresh palette of colors and new fabrics, updating the age-old technique to create contemporary rugs for today’s homes. Our leather rugs, woven in the same technique as the rag rugs, are a contemporary spin on tradition.

Working in a small production setting for over two decades, Claudia Mills Studio designs and manufactlures one-of-a-kind handwoven rugs.  Claudia offers a line of individual designs and custom created site specific rugs.   As a designer, Claudia strikes a balance between color, texture and pattern in each floor covering.
